Mia Farrow and Brian Dennehy kick off a star-studded repertory revival of A.R. Gurney’s two-person chestnut Love Letters. The simply staged two-hander may seem too small, too intimate, and too WASP country club for modern Broadway audiences — and the weak box office suggests ticket buyers may agree — but Farrow and Dennehy are terrific.
