Broadway review: ‘Holler If Ya Hear Me’

Just because a song has a narrative built into it doesn’t make it suited to a stage musical. That’s clearly true of Tupac Shakur’s story-driven body of work, which make prove to be not completely suited to the theater — at least in the case of the ill-conceived Holler If Ya Hear Me.
