Broadway review: ‘Aladdin’

Disney’s recent stage musicals have been a mixed bag. But Aladdin, based on the 1992 animated hit, flies its magic carpet to Broadway as one of the stronger live adaptations. And it boasts a notably out-there turn by James Monroe Iglehart as the fast-talking genie memorably voiced by Robin Williams on film. Check out my grade-B review on EW.com
